How to operate a cash register at Walmart?
I just started a job in walmart as a cashier..they r going to train me..but the cash register, it seems too dificult to me..can u plz tell me how to operate it..i mean how to do cash and checks in cash register? and what to do first to start ur register? i m so nervous..its my 1st job in US and as a cashier also..plz help me out with this.
Don’t worry, they will teach you until you know how to use it. Nobody walks in the first day and knows everything. Even a checker from kmart would not know how it use it because everybody uses different cash registers. One thing you can practice is, HOW TO COUNT OUT CHANGE. If you can do that on your first day, they will be very happy.
So grab a bunch of change and practice!
Ask lots of questions, even if you think you understand it, ask again and again until you know the answer for sure!
Good luck, be the best worker they have and you will always have a job!, Show up early, never ever call in sick and you will always have a job.. Be a slacker, you won’t have a job!
